Mastercard has partnered with Web3 luxury fashion brand 9dcc to launch an exclusive apparel line at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Bay Hill, Florida. The collection, named the Pass to Priceless: Bay Hill Capsule, includes nine uniquely curated items available for purchase by Mastercard holders, with prices ranging from $10 to $50. These items are also offered online exclusively to U.S. residents. Each piece of apparel is equipped with an NFC chip that allows the owner to tap their smartphone and receive a corresponding digital collectible on the Polygon network, enhancing the product's value with potential future benefits. The initiative not only merges traditional commerce with digital asset technology but also supports the Arnold and Winnie Palmer Foundation by donating all proceeds from the sales.
